The invention discloses a motor train unit train body and a split type outer windshield thereof. The split type outer windshield is arranged on an end wall of the motor train unit train body, the outer windshield comprises a split type sealing windshield segment and a detachable overhauling windshield segment, and the overhauling windshield segment is correspondingly arranged on the overhauling position of the end wall. By the adoption of the split type design, when an overhauling is required, the overhauling can be conducted only by detaching the overhauling windshield segment without the overall detachment, and therefore the overhauling time can be reduced and the efficiency can be improved.
