The invention discloses a wrong-accelerator-stepping detection device. The wrong-accelerator-stepping detection device comprises a base, a sleeve, a pressure detection device, a plunger and a connecting rod. An opening is formed in the top end of the sleeve, and the bottom end of the sleeve is hinged to the base. The pressure detection device is arranged at the bottom of an inner cavity of the sleeve. The plunger is in the shape of a hollow tube with two closed ends and is movably sleeved with the inner cavity of the sleeve. A first through hole is formed in the top of an inner cavity of the plunger to be communicated with the outside, and a second through hole is formed in the bottom of the inner cavity of the plunger to be communicated with the inner cavity of the sleeve. One end of the connecting rod is fixedly connected with the top end of the plunger, and the other end of the connecting rod is hinged to an accelerator pedal. According to the wrong-accelerator-stepping detection device, whether the air pressure in the sleeve is drastically changed or not is detected through the pressure detection device to monitor whether a driver wrongly steps on the accelerator pedal or not, and a vehicle can automatically take emergency measures accordingly to improve the traveling safety.
