The invention discloses a walking mechanism like a crab. The walking mechanism comprises a matrix frame, a drive device, a transmission mechanism and an executing mechanism. When the walking mechanism walks, after a power supply is switched on, a motor transmits power, and gears of the motor drive gears of a crank shaft to rotate, humps of the crank shaft drive a connection rod to rotate, so that when a whole connection rod mechanism rotates, a first walking mechanism moves forwards, a second walking mechanism is shrunk, the first walking mechanism and the second walking mechanism alternately move by continuously rotating the crank shaft, and then the walking mechanism like the crab moves. The walking mechanism like the crab has the advantages of simple structure, strong stabilization, fast moving speed, efficient working process, excellent moving capability and adaptive capacity for complex bottoms; the walking mechanism can normally work on complicated terrains where conditions are poor, provide an experimental platform for researching the soil touching components of bionic walking mechanisms on soft ground, and play an important role in medical rescue and scientific exploration.
