The invention discloses a monitoring device for the abuse of a high beam during meeting of vehicles at night. The monitoring device is characterized by comprising a monitoring vehicle (1), wherein a preposed video camera (2) facing to the head of the monitoring vehicle (1) and a high-speed camera (3) facing to the tail of the monitoring vehicle (1) are both arranged at the top of the monitoring vehicle (1), a light intensity detection device (4) is arranged on one side surface of the monitoring vehicle (1), an LED light source (5) is arranged at the lower left corner of the tail of the monitoring vehicle (1), a light barrier (6) is arranged above the LED light source (5), and the preposed video camera (2), the high-speed camera (3), the light intensity detection device (4) and the LED light source (5) are respectively controlled by a master controller (7) in a unified manner. The monitoring device disclosed by the invention can monitor whether the vehicle running in the opposite direction uses the high beam or not during meeting in real time.
