The invention discloses a beacon detection method in a train positioning process. The beacon detection method comprises the following steps: a beacon window state machine is set, wherein the state machine is at a first state at the beginning; when a train is operated and passes through a first beacon window, the state of the state machine is switched, a first beacon is read by a train antenna, and a train position is established; after the train leaves away from the first beacon window, the state of the state machine is switched; the position is continuously updated in the operation process of the train, and whether the antenna is located in a certain beacon window or not is judged and determined by searching; when the antenna is located in the certain window, the state of the state machine is switched into a second state and the beacon is marked into an expected beacon; if the expected beacon is detected in the window, the position of the train is updated through the expected beacon; after the train leaves away from the window of the expected beacon, the state of the state machine is switched into the first state and other subsequent beacon detection is continually carried out. According to the beacon detection method, the predication of a positioning beacon and the accurate reading of the beacon can be accurately realized, and missed reading, incorrect reading, early reading and late reading of the beacon can be detected and recorded very well, so that the position of the train can be accurately updated.
