The invention discloses automobile sidelights and a production method thereof and relates to the field of automobile lights. The automobile sidelights are disposed at the front edge of a roof and the automobile body edge positions from the front edge of the roof to the bottoms of two rearview mirrors; the automobile sidelights comprise lights and FPCs (flexible printed circuit boards); the lights include xenon lights and LED lights; the xenon lights and the LED lights are staggered. The production method includes the steps of shade production, bulb mounting, finishing and installation on an automobile. According to the production process, the number of the sidelights to be arranged is determined, the tails of the xenon lights and the LED lights are sleeved with shades and are spot-welded to the FPCs by a spot welder, the produced sidelights are put in a mold of an injection molding machine, the tails of the shades are molded with opaque rubber, the sidelights are produced and allow passengers and other vehicles to distinguish the size of the automobile from afar, the sidelights can also be used with the rearview mirrors to visualize the situation behind the automobile at night, and staggering arrangement of the xenon lights and the LED lights saves cost.
