The invention discloses a lower swing arm and an automobile. The lower swing arm comprises a lower swing arm body. A wheel connecting portion, a first automobile body connecting portion and a second automobile body connecting portion are arranged on the lower swing arm body, the first automobile body connecting portion is a rotary connecting piece, the second automobile body connecting portion is a flexible connecting piece, and the flexible connecting piece is positioned on the rotation axis of the rotary connecting piece. The lower swing arm and the automobile have the advantages that the lower swing arm can rotate around the first automobile body connecting portion relative to an automobile body when rotating under the actions of up-down movement of the automobile, the first automobile body connecting portion is used as a basic point, and the second automobile body connecting portion is positioned on the rotation axis of the first automobile body connecting portion and is arranged within the up-down movement range of a wheel and accordingly is low in required displacement for being matched with rotation; the second automobile body connecting portion is flexibly connected with the automobile body and has certain free displacement, accordingly, the interference amplitude between the first automobile body connecting portion and the second automobile body connecting portion of the lower swing arm in rotation procedures can be reduced, the wheel can smoothly move up and down, and the riding comfort of the automobile can be improved.
