The invention discloses a double-platform scaffold-free elevator installation method. The method is characterized by comprising the installation procedures of manufacturing a template and unwinding a wire, installing machine room equipment, erecting a temporary platform, installing bottom pit equipment, assembling a lift car platform, assembling a downward moving platform, installing a traction speed limiter, performing slow operation regulation, utilizing the platforms to construct, disassembling the platforms and installing counterweights, fine decorating a lift car and performing quick operation regulation. The double-platform scaffold-free elevator installation method is short in installation period, low in construction power consumption and suitable for installation of high-rise elevators.
