A machine (100) includes a frame (104) and an oscillating hitch (118). A first cylinder (114) couples to a first side of the oscillating hitch (118) and a first side of the frame (104). A second cylinder (116) couples to a second side of the oscillating hitch (118) and a second side of the frame (104). A first isolating mechanism (402) couples to the first cylinder (114) and rotates in response to a first rotation of the first cylinder (114) relative to the frame (104) or the oscillating hitch (118). A first angle sensor (400) senses a first angular displacement (206) of the first isolating mechanism (402) about a first rotational axis. A second isolating mechanism (406) couples to the second cylinder (116) and rotates in response to a second rotation of the second cylinder (116) relative to the frame (104) or the oscillating hitch (118). A second angle sensor (404) senses a second angular displacement (208) of the second isolating mechanism (406) about a second rotational axis.
