A railway vehicle having an optimized electricity distribution network The railway vehicle (10) comprises a first car (12) having a first end (13A), and a second car (14) having a second end (15A), the first (13A) and second (15A) ends being arranged across from one another and separated by an inter-circulation space (16) comprising an inter-circulation device. The first (12) and second (14) cars are equipped with first (20H) and second (22H) high-voltage cables and first (20B) and second (22B) low-voltage power cables. Each car (12, 14) has a casing (28, 32) supported at its end (13A, 15A), the power cables all passing through this casing (28, 32). This casing (28, 32) comprises a support member (26, 30) for the power cables. The support members (26, 30) are arranged across from one another, the power cables extending freely in the inter circulation space (16) between the support members (26, 30), the inter-circulation space (16) and in particular the inter-circulation device being free of any support element for the power cables.
