THE opinion was forced upon us many years ago that the production engineer provides an almost insoluble problem from the information point of view, and we do not think it constitutes an unfair summary of the deliberations at the recent A.S.L.I.B. conference on the dissemination of information on production reported in this issue to say that that was the general view.
