PARTICULARLY when taken in conjunction with last month's issue, the present number of AIRCRAFT ENGINEERING strikingly illustrates the widespread character of the net from which our contents are drawn. Last month we published two articles sent us from the United States and the first instalment of an account of the methods used in the production of a French aeroplane, as well as an extended review of a Dutch book on rocket propulsion written by a Polish contributor now resident in England—apart from two articles by British authors. This month we complete the French production article started last month, while of the other contents one comes from Belgium and another is a survey of German developments, with rocket motors. Apart from England, therefore, here are five countries which have contributed their quotas for the benefit of aeronautical engineers working in all parts of the world.
