AbstractExperimental results of the artificial ionospheric turbulence study by its sounding by short radio pulses are presented. Spatial and temporal characteristics of a “caviton” signal scattered by the artificial ionospheric turbulence are considered. Amplitude and phase time dependencies of scattering signals and their evolution were studied. The dependencies of quasi-periodic amplitude variations of the “caviton” signal on the heating power, on the virtual height of scattering, on the difference between the heating and probing frequencies, on the time from the heating onset were obtained.
