In rebuilding of Conners Creek Power House of Detroit Edison Co, fusion welding, by d-c metallic arc process, is employed in fabrication and erection of piping to much greater extent than has been previous practice of company; reasons for choice of arc welding; extent to which process was employed; joint designs used.
