Description and illustrations of a new valve called the Borsig Ideal Valve (A. Borsig Machine Works, Berlin-Tegel), some advantages of which are said to be uninterrupted free passage through valve, avoidance of pressure losses, higher speed and therefore smaller piping, less radiation losses in connection with warm media, reduced cost for attendance and repair, etc.
