Increasing complexity of electrical systems in automobiles and trucks highlights advantages of printed and solid-state circuits; connectors used in these applications demand special considerations; it is becoming feasible to incorporate increasing number of electrical and electronic convenience and safety devices in automobiles and trucks; connectors and interconnection systems that are compatible with automotive requirements and production techniques presently are being developed for use with printed circuitry.
