Wind tunnel investigation of high lift capabilities of 2 supersonic configurations equipped with stowable, fabric wings of parachute like construction that may be used for takeoff and landing; use of parawing resulted in threefold increase in lift coefficient at aircraft attitude of 12°; static lateral stability characteristics of canard model were improved by adding parawing.
