Investigation indicates extent to which amount of cross coupling present in aircraft is dependent on angular velocity damping and moments of inertia of aircraft as well as angular momentum of engine; criterion based on pilots' opinions obtained from simulation flights provides means for determining acceptability of cross coupling as function of aircraft design parameters.
