Design and construction of ship testing tank used to simulate, under laboratory conditions, movement of ships in restricted waterways; channel is 42 ft long, 30 in. wide and 5 1/2 in. deep; towing arrangements, using Velodyne system, details of towed and self-propelled models, wave recording equipment and drag measuring device are also described; scale models of average tanker using Manchester Ship Canal were used in tests; arrangement diagrams.
