International Harvester model D-301 diesel engine is heavy duty, high speed, light weight engine for pickup and delivery, 16,000 lb to 18, 000 lb GVW truck; it develops 112.5 gross horsepower at 3000 rpm and weighs 122 lb; D-301 is one of family of four diesels adapted from gasoline engines; design changes made to produce engine are enumerated and explained.
