Spinning and efforts directed toward explaining it; spinning sometimes considered desirable maneuver in combat; aerodynamical and dynamical causes of spinning; mastery lies in reliable means of recovery and not in prevention; increase in size of stabilizing and controlling surfaces only temporary remedy; possibility of using automatic leading edge slots on horizontal tail surfaces; rudder action is of utmost importance in spinning and efforts should be directed to increase its efficiency by preventing its shielding; inclination of rudder axis suggested.
