Summary on spinning is presented to point out state of art and most important parameters, and to show effects of parameters on spin and spin-recovery characteristics; principal factors in spinning are mass distribution, which is by far most important single parameter, and tail design, which is important for conditions of zero or near-zero loading; by knowing mass distribution and tail design, it is possible to predict whether airplane has satisfactory spin-recovery characteristics.
