Railroad bridge across western end of Suisun Bay (arm of San Francisco Bay) to replace car ferry between Benicia and Port Costa; to be double-track structure consisting of ten 408-ft. through spans, one lift span with 305-ft. clearance between piers, one 390-ft. deck span and short viaduct approaches at both ends, total length being 6000 ft.; cost of structure estimated at $11,548, 500.
