Synchronizer, developed by Hamilton Standard, keeps engines on multi-engine aircraft operating at same speed, and thus prevents rapid variations in noise level; Synchrophaser maintains desired phase relationship between propellers on multi-engine aircraft; hydromatic Synchrophaser consists of four pulse generators, electronic unit, electromechanical unit, and manual phase control panel.
