One-year test program is described which is conducted at Forest Hills and Kew Gardens, New York stations with relatively light traffic density and mainly commuter traffic; at either station, passenger receives plastic ticket of about credit-card size, magnetically coded on 5-round-trip, weekly or monthly basis; passenger then inserts it in special turnstile which electronically "reads" ticket, cancels one ride, and allows entry to platform in matter of 1/2 sec.
