At present main line from Rotterdam to Amsterdam has been chosen for electrification; direct current at tension of 1500 volts was adopted, which will be bought from existing power stations located in neighborhood of line; electric railway Rotterdam-Hague-Scheveningen has been changed from singlephase to direct current of 1500 volt; for conversion of 3-phase direct current, seven substations will be built between Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
