Since war, Germania Werft have built number of high-class motor yachts for foreign owners; gives dimensions of typical vessels and describes in detail Caritas, a 48-m. yacht, built in 7 1/2 months, having displacement of 495 tons; gross tonnage, 405; it is single decker with forecastle, and has 4 watertight bulkheads; two main engines are of single-acting Germania-Werft 4-stroke marine oil-engine type.
