Pitching motion and bending moment were measured, and records were analyzed on basis of Longuet-Higgins' work and Pierson-St. Denis method; comparisons were made between spectrum analyzer and computation methods, and expected maximum bending moment was evaluated; 2 ships are of 52.50 and 55.50 m in length bp, and block coefficients of 0.47 and 0.468 respectively.
