Design of ship for storage, handling, checkout, and launch of large liquid fueled space vehicles; through mobility ship would provide great flexibility in launch operation, which is required for many missions such as placing satellites into synchronous equatorial orbits; proposed AGSL hull (based on Mariner C-4), would be of length oa 563 ft, beam 76 ft, full load displacement 17,700 tons, speed 20 knots, endurance 10,000 mi; arrangement and equipment are described; diagrams show design.
