Examination of launch vehicle development trends; greater efficiency in space transportation can be expected due to development of bigger launch vehicles, use of high energy propellants in upper stages, better and lighter materials, and rapidly growing experience; hypotehtical model of future activities in Earth-to-orbit transportation which permits some interesting developments over complete generation (25 yr); it is concluded that space transportation capacity for multiple orbital lunar, and planetary programs should be available in late 1970's.
