Design, functions, and features of new launch facilities required for Saturn in its future spaceflight operations; criteria which control design and construction of launch facilities for large rockets are illustrated by reference to Launch Complex 34 at Cape Canaveral (used for Saturn I) and Complex 37, which will become operational this year; special reference made to VAB (Vertical Assembly Building), LUT (Launder Umbilical Tower) and crawler, giant transporter vehicle operating on tractor principle for Moon rocket.
