Tanker for depositing of digested sludge and for discharge of gas liquor in Exeter, England, was designed on normal tanker practice, with flush deck and cofferdams; cargo tanks are sealed gas tight and vented to mast head with flame trap; main engine and propulsion unit is Lister Blackstone 6-cyl unidirectional turbocharged diesel engine developing 495 bhp at 750 rpm, direct-coupled to modern wheel drive reversing gearbox of 3 to 1 ratio.
