Review of current shipbuilding activity in eight countries shows that construction of glass fiber craft up to 200 ft long is entirely feasible; among vessels constructed are trawlers to 83 ft in length in Japan and South Africa, river passenger boats of 60 to 80 ft in France and Soviet Union, and 77 ft pilot boats in Netherlands; design studies include 112 ft minesweeper and 110 ft trawler; midship sections and photographs are furnished as available.
