Paper proves that six orbit parameters and three landmark coordinates can be estimated from sequence of pitch and roll sightings to single unknown landmark; to demonstrate degree of observability, numerical results are presented which show navigational accuracy achievable from tracking one, two, four, and six unknown landmarks without use of priori estimate of accuracy of ephemeris data; numerical results using priori data are also given for various observation schedules used on flights as long as 16 orbits.
