Study to determine reliability and accuracy of process of vehicle detection and to evaluate performance of detectors in range of vehicles to accelerate, decelerate and change lane under urban traffic conditions; control tests were divided into three groups -- to test detection range with lateral road position, to test response to echelon formation with large and small headways, and to test effect of speed.
