Results for 11 load movements which were observed over total distance of 1264 mi on all-purpose, most by single lane roads; average delays are given in terms of minutes per vehicle to overtaking and to opposing traffic, and also in terms of vehicle-hours of delay per mile traveled by load; for both traffic streams together latter figure ranged from 2 to 16 vehicle-hours for different loads.
