Norwegian-flag vessel of 8666 tons gross, built by Bergens Mek Verksted to requirement of Klosters Sunward Ferries of London, is for service between four ports in different countries; unusual feature is that two different forms of stabilization, Denny-Brown-A.E.G. International fin stabilizers and McMullen Flume tanks, are fitted; hull length 457 ft 9 in., breadth molded 68 ft 3 in., breadth on fenders 70 ft 2 1/2 in., depth to promenade deck 42 ft 7 in., draft loaded 17 ft 3 in.; each of two 12-cyl B and W engines develops 6000 bhp at 210 rpm.
