Results of tests carried out in experimental tank in Vienna within past few years; due to fact that resistance of under-water bearings of propeller shafts may be low, new propeller described has probably highest efficiency so far attained; use of adjustable blades will probably make this propeller excellent medium for ships in shallow water and for high-speed motor boats.
