Vessel of 1560 tons displacement was built by Burrard Dry Dock Co of North Vancouver, BC, for British Columbia Toll Highways and Bridges Authority and is now in service between Canadian mainland and Gulf Islands; length oa 236 ft, breadth maximum 52 ft 1 1/2 in., designed load draft 12 ft; 400 passengers and up to 40 passenger vehicles can be carried; 2 Canadian Fair-banks-Morse diesel engines, each of 10 cyl rated at 1800 bhp at 800 rpm, are fitted; engine room plans.
