Aeroelastic stability of aircraft equipped with automatic pilot; method is proposed for determining domain in which some adjustable parameters of autopilot may vary without risk of instability; equation of domain boundary in n-dimensional space of parameters is simple matrix equation; boundary deformation under effect of autopilot's gain variations is examined; boundary analysis gives best positions for detectors and indicates type of compensating circuit necessary to stabilize aircraft.
