Fast method of construction of new railroad bridge over Red River, Tennessee by Louisville and Nashville in place where it was demolished as result of coal train derailment; traffic was restored 30 days after deck-girder approach was demolished on single-track line; bridge was 850 ft long and 102 ft high, comprised of two deck trusses, 154 ft long, flanked on each side by steel viaduct.
