Illustrated description of tank cars in which not only tanks but underframes are welded; manufactured by Aktiebolaget Chr. Olsson. Vaertan, Stockholm; there is no separate underframe in usual sense of this term, but structure consisting of longitudinal members, buffer and drawgear beams and horn plates is welded to each end of tank; this means that tank itself transmits load and buffer shocks.
