Oil tanker, "Atlantic Duchess", twin engined Gray-Polar installation has been completed at Central Marine Engine Works of Wm. Gray and Co, West Hartlepool; machinery comprises two 6-cyl 2-stroke engines developing, collectively, 4720 bhp at 250 rpm driving single shaft through Vulcan clutches; 12,000 tons deadweight, length bp of 470 ft, breadth of 62 ft 6 in., and depth 35 ft 6 in.
