Results of 2500 hr evaluation test at U S Naval Engineering Experiment Station; test procedures, results and conclusions; purpose was to evaluate compressor-turbine wheel with blades heavier than were in Fleet service at time of test; this has resulted in forced downtime of 0.6% over 1000-hr period, and justifies extending present 500-hr overhaul period to 1000 hr.
