On Jan. 1, 1929, 32,028,584 automobiles, trucks and buses were being operated by peoples of world; over 89 per cent of these were American makes; gains in foreign and domestic registrations; trucks and buses still maintain greatest percentage of increase; 1929 registrations 100 per cent greater than in 1922.
