Water pressures and accelerations on TS-1 seaplane measured during numerous landing and taxiing maneuvers at various speeds and angles; water pressures as great as 10 lb. per sq. in. occur at step in various maneuvers and pressures of approximately same magnitude occur at stern and near bow in hard pancake landings with stern well down; greatest accelerations measured normal to thrust line at center of gravity occurred in pancake landings; maximum of 4.3 g. recorded.
