Review of report by W. F. Dearden, Medical Officer of Health to Manchester Port Sanitary Authority, who arrived at certain broad conclusions that hygienic equipment of crew accommodation in British ships prior to 1918 was superior to that in foreign vessels; but, owing to very great improvements in equipment of latter since 1928, foreign ships are now definitely superior to British craft as a class.
