Brief reference to article in Oct. 11, 1929, issue of this journal mentioning alterations made to Graf Zeppelin after forced landing; problem was mainly one of altering frequency, or critical speed, of system; Bibby coupling, of form shown was tested; coupling has steel grid spring as its resilient member; couplings similar to test coupling were fitted to all five drives, and airship made its flight round world free from engine-vibration troubles.
