New test procedure was developed by Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough, Great Britain, and used for fatigue testing of supersonic airliner Concorde; new procedure takes into account thermal effects encountered during flight; it is reported that test will more accurately simulate supersonic flight than previously attempted, and give greater accuracy in determining fatigue life.
