Paper discusses increasing growth in air traffic due to introduction of turbine-powered transport and to growth of general aviation of all kinds; presented are some of Federal Aviation Agency's development programs for expanding capability of air route traffic control centers and terminal control facilities, for increasing usefulness of navigation and landing aids to more airports, and for increasing airport capacity.
